I am using this to keep squirrels away from my tomatoes. It has been months, and the solar panel keeps the owl working without having to charge it manually. I have turned the sound feature off and it still keeps the squirrels away with the motion detected rotating head and shining eyes. I have moved the owl's location every few days as the directions said so that it makes it more believable. I chose this particular owl for its features and also because of the large size and "Great Horned Owl" appearance... which is an owl that is native to my area.

This is the second owl I bought to scare away birds pooping on my pool furniture. The first one I bought had a detection range of about a foot, so not much help. But this one has a detection range of about 20 feet. Head spins around, green eyes light up and it makes an owl noise I guess. Besides the solar charger on the top of the head it also has a plug-in for an electrical charge which is great because this owl is under a pool pergola in the shade all the time. Only negative is the on off switch is in the head section under neath and alittle tricky to turn on and off. But this Owl is exactly what you need to run everything off!

I love this owl! It is very sturdy and stays activated for days! I love that the eyes glow as it continually turns its head. It has helped tremendously in keeping a pesky hawk at bay from the beautiful birds who come to visit daily. Would highly recommend!! ðŸ‘ðŸ¼ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

The head gets stuck all the time and then the solar charge pad is not facing the sun, and it can't charge. Doesn't work and doesn't scare away the birds from my garden.

We placed this owl decoy on our front porch and it works great. We now have less rabbits and birds visiting our porch and digging in our plants. Highly recommended.

I bought this because we have issues with birds nesting on our roof. So far its working fine. It was easy to install with the included small screws. Its head moves, the eyes light up and it screeches, but not loud enough to become an issue. So far a good value for what I paid.

I purchased these for the birds. Crapping all over my pavers. It did the job. Only one of the 3 failed. I would still purchase these
