Ideal if u need more light or like if you need light at all!One of these is in my chicken pen so I can see at night insideOne is on my front porch and brought in there for a regular front porch lightEvery night, I’m thinking I left my porch light on and it’s the lantern because it lets a lot of light out! Definitely buy these!I live on 3 acres and if I can find more likes like these, I will buy them at this price!

This is a beautiful fixture and I am sad to return it. It has a bright light and has a long cord which is ideal for hanging from our gazebo. What I didn’t realize is that it has to be almost dark before the light will turn on. While I can see this would be a great use for a shed or chicken coop, it doesn’t work for our needs as we want to be able to turn the light on when it is earlier in the day. Also keep in mind that it will be on all night. It’s a bright light which is great but to be on all night; our neighbors aren’t thrilled.

For the remote it is on solar panel and you must be a few foot away pointing directly at back of panel to turn on or off would not recommend unfriendly remote use

Ordered this to go over a table in a little cabana like pergola but it was a bit garishly bright which surprised me from the warm glow and it attracted a ton of bugs overhead and around. So I moved it to be a distant light in our landscape under our oleander clump of trees/bushes. It has a nice long cord so could easily use indoors with panel out a window. You can turn it on earlier in the evening by covering up the panel to simulate dusk as some have said they wish they could use it before dark and you can that way. It has an on off button under the panel to turn off after dark if desired. It does have a nice look just not over an outside table as it draws bugs and too bright for ambiance.

Good solar lamp. Was lighting well. Had no issues then the panel fell off and light bulb entrance came unhinged. I don't know what happened. Had been in a stationary position since it was set up. Sadly the joy didn't last long. It was ok while it lasted. 😞

I was unsure about this light when I purchased it but it has worked exactly as advertised! I love it! I didn’t use it exactly as it was advertised, as you can see from the picture, but it looked like it would work so I bought it. I am very satisfied with the results.It charged all day long in the Sun and then it came on at night and stayed on all night long. I’ve not seen how it works on a cloudy day yet, but it looks like it will be okay.
