Rubber has a high degree of chemical stability, is currently the best of all elastomers in the media resistance. Rubber strips are flexible and can be folded at will.

Solid rubber strips are weatherproof, waterproof and oil-proof, which means that on heavy duty and industrial equipment it is protected from dust, dirt, oil and can be insulated.
The rubber will initially have an odor, you need to place the rubber outside in a ventilated area for 1 to 2 days and the odor will disappear.

I was looking for a solid 100% rubber sheet to use for insulation purposes in a small car safe and it works most excellent there’s no neoprene to make it softer and easier to tear us through and the price was very very reasonable. I’m very happy with this and it worked perfectly and was easy to cut for what I was using it for.

Used this to make a weather seal at the top of a roll up door in my farm shop. 16' wide door. Been about 6 months. Has worked fine. Has not shrunk or degraded in any way I can tell. The adhesive seen to stick well. However I put a few staples along for good measure.

Used to line the inside of a small tractor tires. Heavy thorns penetrated tires. With this product, thorns couldn't penetrate. High quality.

Used it for my roof rack. I was getting scratches from loading a kayak and paddle board. Not anymore! Awesome product

We made our own washer/gaskets for some exterior handles we added to our RV. Easy to cut to the awkward size needed. Good for other DIY projects. It smells as expected... rubbery. It was flexible and soft enough to cut with craft scissors or utility knife.

Did not sufficiently clean the surface before applying, so the ends of the strips began to loosen. Don't make that mistake.
