Bought for my daughter and she loved the lining pattern and the whole thing looks and feels great. It's clearly waterproof but very soft, not crunchy plastic. Great quality all around. Would recommend.

At first, I was reluctant to buy this raincoat because of the price. But, I bit the bullet and purchased the pink one. I am so happy I did. It has a hood and a colorful lining. There are pockets which was a necessity. Furthermore, this raincoat is warm and just the right length. There is room to wear warm clothing without feeling constricted. In summary, this was a quality purchase that climbed way higher than my expectations. This was a purchase of excellent quality that I recommend to everyone.

My daughter loves this jacket. She is 4’11â€, approximately 87 lb so I purchased the 13-14Y size. Arms were a bit long, but I could still see her fingers. The length was a bit on the long side but she prefers larger fitting items. It also has a bit of a bell shaped bottom when the jacket is zipped up. Very fashionable design with a comfortable cotton lining. The lining is VERY thin which means this is meant to be worn in warmer weather. Nobody wants a hot, waterproof jacket sticking to their skin during the warmer spring weather or during summer downpours! I didn’t give it 5 stars because of 2 cons: #1) There is no way to secure the hood by tying it. While there appears to be a couple of cords that protrude from the hooded area, these are just for show and not function. Bummer. #2) As other readers mentioned, it did come with a very strange, fishy odor. While my daughter didn’t care, I couldn’t tolerate it. I decided to take a chance — I put it in the washing machine on “soak†cycle with about 1/2 cup of baking soda and cold water. After it finished, I washed it with regular detergent in cold water, regular cycle. It can be dried on “low†setting in the dryer (according to the label) which is what I did. I checked it periodically and took it out before it was completely dry. Hung it on a thick plastic hanger in a doorway to air out. Left it there for a couple of days and... Tah-dah! Zero odor!

Second time buying them for my kids. First coats were still in good shape after 2 years. Kids just grew out of them. The new ones had a slight odor but went away in a day or 2 of just hanging them up. I sized up so they could easily wear a sweater or sweat shirt under them.
