Perfect replacement item. They work as promised, however, all these have issue if you don’t close the cabinet with proper force and action. Stutter closing and it will cause you to have to pry open with a screw driver. Make the mistake a few times and you’ll have to replace the catch.

This is the third one I have replaced. It cracks easily where the rivets hinge the latch. The rivet is too close to the edge and the plastic is too thin.

This is not a surface mount. Looks like we have missed the 30 day return window which really stinks. We were traveling when this broke and didn't have the proper tools to remove the broken one.
