Use #4 screws or .125 rivets to install. Grabber catch has microswitch option to be used as a mechanical grabber catch with an electric switch. Switch is designed to operate an indicator light or form part of a non-safety related logic circuit.

These are the same 5 lb. OEM units found on my 1999 Holiday Rambler Admiral motor home, and use the same screw locations. I went cheaper at first on some 10 lb. knockoffs and was totally dissatisfied...way too hard to function well, especially when used in pairs; and they have different screw locations on the male side of the latch...bummer. Lesson learned, as I did not know that the originals were 5 lb...now you do. These are the real McCoys for just a couple bucks more... and at the best price that I could find for them. Highly recommend.

These are authentic Southco latches. Past experience with these has been good fro reliability and durability.I can't say the same for other look alike brands. There have been multiple failures within the first two years.

I used these in my RV, to replace wimpy catches that didn't keep the doors closed. I am very happy with the performance of these Southco grabbers.

Nothing to it! removed the broken one, and screwed this one in its place. Screw holes didn't exactly match, but it has no bearing on its functionality.
