Well the seeds definitely sprouted. I think it's good quality, and good value for money.

Had no luck with these seeds. Tried in cups (covered to maintain high humidity- redundant because I live in the tropics), direct sowing in the ground and in pots and not a single seed germinated.

I planted these seeds about 4 days after receiving them. They took about 6 days to germinate. It’s still very early but I’m happy that they at least have germinated. I will update the review as the time runs on.

Lemon Balm was on my list of things to grow this year after reading the benefits of it and the different things it could be used for, and I was really hesitant to purchase this package of seeds for a couple of reasons, 1. I had read in a few different places that it is actually difficult to start from seed, and 2. The reviews on here seemed to be that customers either had very good luck with it, or that nothing grew at all. After a little research, I found that it needs a strong light source, to barely be covered with soil, and planting it in a container seemed to be the best bet because it can be invasive. So what I did when planting was just dropped the seeds on top of the soil, and didn't truly cover them with dirt. I just let them fall in the crevices of the dirt where they may and left them and kept the seeds moist with a spray bottle as not to over water. I also have my container in front of a sliding door that we currently don't use, so it is getting as much sunlight as I could provide without the container being outside. This morning I went over and saw several little sprouts coming up in my container! I planted them exactly a week ago today! I am very happy with the result, and am looking forward to growing this plant! I do not have a green thumb at all, so once the plants are big enough I hope to transplant outside to a container to let nature take its course so to speak.Updated my review with a new/better photo. Second photo is two and a half weeks after the first sprouts appeared!

So the germination process of this plant was relatively quick. I didn't expect them to grow as fast as they did. Having said that, getting them to grow beyond seedling stage at a nice rate is the tough part. All of my plants stay very small and stringy and no matter what I do, I can't get them to progress past that point before they wither away. They stay watered without being over watered. I follow the lighting instructions. So what gives? I was hoping for Lemon Verbena anyways as that is what I searched for and this is something completely different. I will continue to use what is left in hopes of making something happen, but I gave up the thought I will get a decent plant out of these.
