This is a great kit for beginners, I’ve had a lot of fun with it. It makes really nice candles. There isn’t a lot of wax once it’s melted down though, I bought a 5 lb bag of soy wax from Amazon and I’ve been able to make a lot of candles

The pegs for the stand of the melter are a bit obnoxious, they don’t stay in very well. But the heat works and melts the wax great. The wax is good quality and it’s easy to use.

The kit was smaller than I thought it would be, but I was pleased with it. There was enough wax to make these two candles with another half one. I added in some apple scent blocks to get the color and scent.

This is a great set for anyone wanting to start making their own candles or even the wax melts. There is not really any scent with this wax, so if you want something scented, then you need to buy fragrance oil seperatly. This is nice because it comes with everything you need to try out your candle making out of the gate. Even the hot plate is nice, so you don't have to use a double broiler, like I did, and melt the handle (Oh bother). This is easy to use and understand and so much fun for a start or introduction to candle making!

This kit has everything you would need as a beginner with clear instructions. Sellers are also excellent - The element received seemed to have an issue with the electrical connection - contacted the seller and a replacement was sent quickly with no issue. Would highly recommend!!
