I have a large cement-floored barn. I had some extra kitchen/dining room tables that I wanted to use as worktables instead of letting them just sit disassembled gathering dust. But I wanted to keep the floorspace of the barn easily re-configurable since I do oil changes and other vehicle maintenance in the building and need to be able to quickly clear floor space. For the first table, I used some old, but high-quality metal-framed-with-bearing office chair casters. They work and they were free, so I am just going to keep using them. But for the second table, I ordered these. The better relative usability and suitability is clearly evident. The first table with the re-purposed casters rolls but is hesitant to move and I can’t let it down on the legs. These roll much easier, and I can let the table down on the legs for extra stability if needed.Installation was simple enough. As others have mentioned, there may be a slight learning curve with your first caster as the instructions (or rather lack thereof) are unclear. But after learning and seeing the process, it is easy enough. The included fasteners are of decent quality. I pre-drilled all the holes and none of the screws stripped out when installed with an impact driver. But I’ve had enough experience with these types of products to see that if you did not pre-drill, these would almost certainly strip out.The included “disposable wrenches†are actually of quite high quality. I had an entire workbench full of wrenches and sockets sitting 6 feet away during installation and I just kept using the included “disposable†tools. Sometimes tools like that are terrible but in this case they are excellent for this specific application. After installation, I tested both tables rolling up and onto some thin carpet. The re-purposed casters struggled. These did so easily.

This is one of the best set of castors I have ever used. They are very easy to assemble and easy to install. The first set was so easy to install I ordered a second set. They lifted my large table saw stand like it was nothing and let’s me move it around with ease.

If I could have given 4 1/2 stars, I would have. The instructions are not quite adequate. Had to look at the photos of the product on Amazon to know which side of the bottom plate was up, as instructions were unclear. Installation was straightforward. Can be installed with accompanying tools, but I would suggest getting out your own wrenches/sockets (metric) for a slightly easier job. Not really excited by the quality of the bolts, though they seem to be holding up right now. Seem cheap. Otherwise, all good. Had to lift up on a fully loaded table to get the wheels down; my full weight (185 lbs) was not enough to do it by foot pressure alone.Overall, a good idea, and worth the money, even if they could have splurged a little more on the bolts.

Easy installation-works great. Quality materials-even the screws aren't the cheap ones (that strip out easily if you're not perfectly square) I'd buy again.

These are similar quality (good) to the casters on the power tool base dollies I have in my shop. The drilling template has a dotted line on the "floor" end with about 1/8-3/16" or so of border that's meant to be trimmed. Consider leaving it on when you layout the holes, especially if you have irregular or shimmed legs and are not confident getting the clearance right. After trimming that template border prior to layout, my wheels just barely clear the floor with the levers up and the bench at rest. It only takes a small amount of wheel to keep your bench mobile when you don' t intend it to be. There's plenty of height when the bench is raised so that 1/8" or so isn't going to matter.Another thing to be aware of is the two sizes of lag bolts used to attach the foot lever and the wheel plates are very close and easy to confuse visually. I installed one longer bolt where the shorter bolt was meant and I had to redo it. My bad, I know, but I'm sure I'm not the only one. Finally don't overtighten the nuts on the foot levers or the motion will be too stiff to use comfortably. The reason they come with lock nuts is you can back off a little and still have a secure fit. The nuts on the wheel plate bolts can be tightened fully without effecting the wheel motion.

Workshops generate large amounts of sawdust. That sawdust settles everywhere, including around and under workbenches. For those of us who do not have fixed workbenches, moving them in order to clean or in order to find more space for a large project is a problem. These casters are relatively inexpensive, easy to install, and work great. The only drawback is the space beyond the bench that the wheels will occupy. You need about 6 inches available from the leg in order to engage the casters. This was not a problem for me. I like the product so much that I bought it for a second workbench. I'm considering Getting them for my third and final work table.A few tips for those of you installing the castors:Pre-drill your holes for the screws using a 5/32" bitGet a socket wrench for the nuts and bolts. You will need a 10 mm socket for the smaller bolts and a 19 mm socket for the bolt to the wheel. Make your life easier by attaching the wheel to its plate before attaching the large lever since the socket May not fit over the large nut after you install the large lever. You can use the tools that come with the kit, and they will do the job, but it takes a lot more effort.

Overall they work ok. Very poor (almost non-existent) installation instructions, but not difficult to figure out. They provide a pair of wrench type things for tightening the included nuts, but these do not account for clearance so I used my own socket wrenches (again, no problem). In driving in one of the screws, the screw either sheared or broke (photo attached). It looks like they are made from a cheap soft metal. Not a big problem, I have plenty of screws. However, this makes me wonder how well the rest of the product is constructed, and how long it is liable to last.

My order came quickly and included all the necessary parts - even tools. I mounted the 4 casters on the twinned 2x4 legs of my workbench. The bench is heavy - made up of double 2x4 legs and stringers and a solid core door for the work surface. The instructions were clear enough to figure out. It will be interesting to see if the mounting screws will hold the weight of the bench over time or eventually loosen and tear out. Keeping the casters in the "up" position will at least keep the weight on the legs where it belongs and not on the casters and their mounting screws....you just have to remember to tip the casters up. The casters roll the weight of the bench really well and saves me from walking the bench into position by moving one end, then the other.

Habe ich an meinem Selbstbau-Schrank für die deWaltTischkreissäge geschraubt. Steht somit auf eigenen Füssen und durch die Rollen kann ich den Tisch im Raum verschieben. Haben bisher prima gehalten. Einfacher Anbau.

Hesaplı, kaliteli, kullanışlı.Sadece delik şablonu olmaması sıkıntılı, yerini tespit etmekte dikkatli olmak lazım.
