I have a 15-20 year old mini fridge that finally decided to stop cooling. It's that mini fridge covered in stickers and full of stories that you get attached to. I was contemplating just turning it into a planter or something to keep the old girl around. That or say goodbye.. I figured it was just old and done for but after a little research I realized how simple it could be to get running if it turned out to be this relay. Figured what the heck for like $6. Took less than 5 minutes to pop the old one out and plug in this new one. And wouldn't ya know it, she kick right on and works great again! I know it may sound ridiculous but when it turned back on, I got a little emotional. A man and his sticker cover mini fridge have a special bond. Best 6 bucks spent this year.

My magic chef Mini fridge decided to become unmagical and stopped working. Replaced and got it to work thanks to online vids and resources. Thanks also to the other reviews….

I have a home kegerator that quit working. YouTube said probably a relay. Found what I needed here. It arrived in two days and I'm drinking cold beer again. Oh the relay was only $6 and change.

Installed fine, ran my older fridge for about 15 minutes before the fridge stopped due to a different issue!

My brother suggested I buy this little $8 switch instead of trashing my little beer fridge. This worked perfectly and saved me the cost of a new fridge for my mancave.

My roommate's minifridge broke. (It was one of those glass-faced minifridges - SUPER PRICEY). All of a sudden it stopped working and he just stopped using it. When we were moving out he hold me that he was just going to dump it, but I asked if I could have it. I quickly looked up how to fix the issue which brought me to a youtube video that just said I needed to replace this piece. I did and it WORKED!

My Avanti BCA516SS beverage cooler suddenly stopped cooling after a year and a half. I could hear a clicking noise every couple minutes, but the compressor wouldn’t turn on. Replacing this relay fixed the problem! Unplug the unit, remove the plastic cover on the left side of the compressor (power wires are going under the cover) and you’ll see this relay. Pull it off the compressor, remove the one wire and install the new relay in the reverse order. $8 and about 20 minutes time to save a $775 beverage cooler seems like a good deal to me!
