I've had this product for almost 6 months for my now 3-year-old son. He has sensory touch problems and began waking up every night. To put it simply, he and I barely slept for a solid 3 months. I was literally a walking zombie all day, and he was a nightmare all day. We tried adjusting his bedtime routine, melatonin per his pediatrician, a weighted blanket, thunder shirt, and as a last resort, I started to sleep with him. His OT mentioned this compression sheet as an option, so I decided to try it. The cost seemed steep to me, but what is sleep worth?! I felt like I had a newborn again, but so much worse due to behavior issues, developmental delays, night terrors, and sleepwalking. I had to explain what we went through to get to this point, but here are the pros and cons.Con's: • it isn't easy to put on his bed, but definitely doable (it IS supposed to be tight after all). It's like a tube that you have to stretch over the entire bed. I have to lift his mattress to get it on correctly. Although raising the mattress works best for me doesn't mean that's the best way for everyone to do it either.• it can snag easily, but consider the material it's made out of to work as it shouldPro's: • he no longer wiggles around all night long from the top of his bed to the foot of his bed, nor does he fall out of bed.• he sleeps ALL night long since day 1 with certain exceptions like when he's sick, or he has a night terror or nightmare• he feels safe in his bedroom at night• the material is comfortable and breathableIf you are at your wit's end and don't know what else to do...it is worth a try! Everyone is different, and I can't say it'll work for you or your child, but if you're anything like we were... If it actually works...Does cost matter anymore? Does it matter that it's challenging to put on after you wash it? Absolutely not! My son and I are sleeping every single night, and it's all thanks to this compression sheet, or as my son calls it, his "blue blanket." Side note: don't forget if they need to sleep elsewhere as I did...4 hours away from home. My husband went home during our vacation so that we could all sleep again and not have to go home early from our vacation solely due to not having this sheet. What do you have to lose? Just try it! 🙂

This is wonderful. We call it the “hug sheet†and it has been life changing for our sleep now that my autistic son actually sleeps through the night. I slept in his bed one night with the sheet and fell asleep almost instantly. I want one now for my bed!

My 7 year old tosses and turns a lot at bedtime. And when the sheets fall off or come undone, he’d come and find me in the middle of the night to fix them. I felt like I had a newborn again. Then I found this product. No more loose sheets! And this gives him just a bit of pressure like a weighted blanket would. At first he thought it weird and said he didn’t like the fabric, but he now sleeps with fuzzy socks that he likes. It takes a bit of wrestling to get the sheet on, but that means it won’t slide off. I know I’m delaying teaching him how to fix his own bed in the middle of the night, but my body is happy to be getting sleep again.

It appears that I'm one of the few adults who have tried this (not reviewing for their kids) so here are my thoughts as a grown up, having used it off and on for about 2-3 weeks. If I could give it three and a half stars, I would. It fit my bed well, took about 10 minutes of struggle to get on. The first night it was hard to figure out how to sleep under it, because the most resistance comes at the two ends. So, you have to make sure that you're okay with a bit of pressure wherever the sheet begins and ends, AKA try under your armpits and near your ankles. This of course depends on height. When I first used it, I thought it was supposed to go all the way up to your neck. Very uncomfortable. Bad idea. Once I figured it out a bit better, I found it fairly comforting. For a couple nights, I've had a bit of a hard time sleeping while using it, but I've always had a hard time adjusting to new bedding. On the positives, when I do use it and am able to sleep, I find that I wake up on the "right side of the bed" (a little better mood) a little more often. You really should be a back sleeper to use this. I've tried sleeping on my side, and woken up with my arm or leg feeling tingly because there was too much pressure on it. So, sleeping on your back is best so that the pressure is evenly distributed. Other than that, it is a really nice idea. Very breathable, soft, and if you dont want to use it (like if the top and bottom band create too much pressure), you can just get out and lay on top very easily, or curl up so that you're under it entirely. :)

This thing is made of parent’s dreams! And what I mean by that is I finally get to sleep through the night without my son waking a million times ! It’s a miracle for our sensory seeker!

Nice soft pressure of the sheet, works well for my tossing turning rolling kicking sleeper. He seems to get a solid night sleep without waking himself up.The only downside is putting them on after washing is a struggle like tights on after a shower.

Is this annoying to put on and take off the mattress? YES! Would I do it every single day if I have to just to make my son with autism sleep this good? YES!!!!!! Just buy this thing and I hope it works for you as well as it does for us. I just ordered a second one so I can have a backup. My son was complaining of back pain and not sleeping well and this along with a children’s cervical support pillow have been amazing.

The compression sheet was fine but it took forever to receive.
