I have a 2006 Grand Caravan that was dripping red fluid from the air conditioning condensate drain, so figured the only way for anything but clear water to drip from there was a bad heater core. Got this one, price was right, put it in, and no more dripping coolant. Hope it works longer than the original... it was a pain to replace, but I didn't have to take the dash apart, so not as bad as some... worst part turned out to be getting the little flange clamps on after getting the core into place, but that's going to be the same, no matter what. So, after a month, so far so good.

I only had one issue using this product, the tubing thickness is like 3 times the size of the OEM heater core. If you ever replaced one of these before, then you are already aware of the irritating almost impossible fasteners that are used to hold the tubing together. Well, do to this aftermarket one being "thicker" that almost impossible job is now mission impossible with the original fasteners. They do provided two new fasteners that do fit the thicker tubing, only problem with that is the ones they sent me where backwards and in order to use them, I would have to screw them down on the back end of the tubing that faces the firewall where u can not see them and can only get to with a stubby screwdriver, which still do you no good when u cant see where the screw goes.. I ended up taking plies and stretching open the original fasteners so they can fit over the thicker tubing and reusing them. other then the issues with the fasteners, part was a direct fit.

Heater core is fine but the included clamps are worthless. You must use the old clamps! So don't break them!

This will NOT fit a 2005 Dodge Durango; I contacted the manufacturer who confirmed as well. This heater core is taller than OEM. My rating has nothing to do with the quality of the product as I could not install it. Hopefully Amazon will update their system to reflect this before someone else wastes their time purchasing the wrong part.To save you the trouble of finding it, the OEM part number is 05166114AB.
