Good replacement heater core for my Jeep YJ. As others have stated, there is no bracket for the mounting screws like on the original core, but that is no big deal. This core fits in the air handler just fine and is a snug fit with the included foam to surround it with.

Works perfectly (just wish it were copper)! This doesn't come with a replacement rubber gasket that goes around the tubes. I just used the one that was already on my Jeep. Had to slightly bend the tubes to fit properly. Other than that, my Jeep is now warm and toasty. Can't beat it for this price.

The heater was the right size for my 92 Jeep yj, however the replacement sent to me did not include the mounting bracket that secures the heater core to the back plate. I did use the supplied foam to help hold in place.

Construction seems sound, lighter and many more fins for better heat (no scientific study was done so I can't say for sure :) ). Comes with self-adhering foam material which was very nice. I had to bend the inlet/outlet tubes a little to get it to fit just right, but it wasn't that bad. The reason for four stars is twofold:1. The core dimensions are actually a little different from the original heater, it was a little wider so the fit was a little tight when installing back into the airflow/diverter box, and it was actually a little shorter, but the included foam tape made up the difference well.2. THERE WAS NO BRACKET with screw holes for actually mounting it. It wasn't too much trouble popping the old bracket off of the old heater core and epoxying it to this new one, but it would have been nice to know beforehand. So now you know :)

Factory unit was plugged. This unit restored my heat to an overwhelming level. Overbearingly hot. The rest of my system was also new tho.
