I had a heater core installed less then a year ago at a truck stopped, barely lasted a year cost me over 10 times the price for parts and labor, diy a few screws loosen a couple of clamps plug the 2 hoses with a small rag and pull the old heater core reverse the steps to install and the job is done.

Upon unpacking item from the box I noticed the heater core was damaged. There was no insulation in the box to limit the movement or compression to the item for possible damage. I would at least like a discount on the dented item.

HEATER CORE IS IDENTICAL TO OEM. FITS PERFECT ON A KENWORTH T880.

Can't comment on quality but its identical to what I pulled out of our 2014 579.We have others ranging from 2014-2017 and they are the same as well.So yes, it fits a Peterbilt 579. Do not spend $400+ at Rush or whatever dealer is trying to rip you.
