As others have stated you may receive a braided hose where the braid has imperfections or burrs along it. I ordered two (because I needed two) and one was perfectly fine and the other had imperfections.

Don't waste your time! If I had known this is just the crappy Stainless Braid sleeved over the rubber hose, I'd have bought those for 1/2 the price. there were frays and sharp wires in the middle of the hoses and the clamps were also crap. Had to replace 2 of the 4 hose clamps (Ordered 2 hoses) before installing.Attempting to push the hose onto the fitting causes the Sleeved Stainless to slide and bunch up, making it look cheep and ugly.
