Your cart is empty.The Spectre Carburetor Adapter comes with a universal open spacer and a 4 hole insert spacer. This adapter is designed to allow you to adapt a Holley, Edelbrock or Carter/AFB 4 barrel carburetor to a Quadrajet intake manifold. The outer plate has been manufactured with precision die cast aluminum so that the adapter is durable, fits great and looks good. The carburetor spacer is designed to increase power by raising air/fuel velocity as it enters into the intake manifold. The adapter comes with the necessary gaskets and hardware for a quick and easy installation.

Definitely had to modify the space to fit but nothing drastic. Works fairly well but I bet a solid phenolic carb spacer would work better then a part aluminum part phenolic spacer does. Why doesn’t any make a qjet intake to a standard 4 bbl carb spacer that’s all phenolic?

Needed to raise the FItech efi system up a bit for the linkage to clear. This part did and excellent job converting the quadrajunk spread to a standard 4105 square flange 4 barrel. All of the bolts were present to make my application work and the fitment was spot on. Local autopart stores wanted twice as much as this.

Could not use the bolts included until I deburred the threaded holes in adapter, no clean up was done at factory, so be prepared to do this yourself. Also, as in my photos, the included gasket does not line up and instead forces you to nibble a bit of the carburetor stud holes on the gasket out in order to be able to screw the carburetor on to the engine. Spectre needs to pay attention, otherwise people are going to buy another brand of adapter from someone who actually makes something you can use like it was intended instead of working on the parts you bought to fit that didn't.

All bolts work and nuts work fine like they should. wish the bolts for the spacer could of been Allen heads. But the Phillips head did work

The casting is pretty rough and will drastically affect airflow. needs considerable work before installation. I wild not purchase again.
