Made of EDPM. So probably only rated to 200 or 300 degrees. Works fine in my engine compartment about 8 inches above the exhaust manifold. Silicone couplers are rated for 500 degrees. I have also purchased silicone couplers and found that they are about as flexible and easy to use as EDPM. Also these included hose clamps - the silicone ones did not. Given the choice I would pick these over silicone unless high heat was an issue.

Strong clamps and great quality rubber. It even has a built In stopper inside so the pipe can't go all the way through by mistake. Makes for ease to just tighten clamps. This was a good buy and I look forward to purchase from them again.

Make sure you pay attention to the material of this, it’s not intended for high temp locations. Otherwise, works great and comes with clamps.

Used this to attach the mass air flow sensor portion of the air cleaner in my 2002 Infiniti Q45. Once the engine warms up the material becomes extremely soft and whatever is attached to this coupler literally falls apart/off. Under normal driving conditions the MAF sensor detached from this weak coupler, forcing my car to stall at 70MPH and then again at 25MPH, making the vehicle inoperable and unsafe to drive. I sure do NOT recommend this coupler, not if you value your life or your safety.
