Part did not fit correctly to begin with. It one end fit okay, but the other needed to be reamed out to fit. On top of that the allen screws that they sent with are not a standard size and cannot be tightened down. Don't try to save money on this part. It will cost you more in the long run when you go back to the OEM one that at least lasted our sled 10+ years vs this ones 10 starts.

The part broke after several attempts to start the machine found the problem with the machine dirt in the carburetor plugged jets but starter flex cable broke after several attempts to start it???

Install was easy on my 2003 Z570. I did re-use the set screws from my old flex shaft, only because they had a larger hex in them, which made it easier to work with, but the included set screws would work just fine if needed. I also applied some blue loctite when tightening the set screws down. Time will tell how well this new flex shaft lasts, but initial impressions are good, it appears to be constructed the same way the OEM one was, although it doesn't have the rubber outer casing over the shaft that the original had, but that shouldn't affect its operation at all.
