You will have to drill a hole in the side of the container to open it. We've ordered a couple of these and they seem to be crushed when they arrive, making it IMPOSSIBLE (two men on a 6' pry bar fail to dislodge the lid), but if you drill a hole in the side, squeeze it HARD, and maybe use a compressor blow nozzle to inflate it via the hole, you can get the lid off. Not exactly a process you want to undertake in the heat of the moment of spill containment. But the kit is good.
