I took this on a 5 day white tail hunt in Missouri and found value from the start to finish. We started out by sighting in our rifles at 100, 200, 300 and 400 yard targets. Everyone’s 10x binoculars or scopes were useless past 100 yards but this scope was perfect to see the shots on target at 400 yards and make the needed adjustments.I took the scope to the blind the next day and was finding turkeys and bucks 600 yards out and filing them using the included adapter. The unit is bigger and heavier than a set of binoculars but I was counting the points on bucks 1,000 yards away. If you plan to take it with you on a hunt or a nature hike, I recommend a backpack due to the weight and tripod but you’ll be hard pressed to find a better option for the value.

In the long range world, this is a budget spotting scope and is great for the beginner just getting into the sport. The glass is bright and clear and will resolve targets up to 500 yards with ease. You may have a hard time seeing trails and mirages, but that comes with better (more expensive) glass. If you're shooting .22LR or .223, this may all you'll ever need. For wildlife viewing, this also may be all you'll ever need. For any use, you'll want to buy a nice tripod.

Really well done spotting scope! High quality product. The case is so roomy and convenient, even room for extras. My favorite part is the phone attachment. Easy to figure out and use. The focus has a large adjustment and a fine adjustment which allows you to make the image crisp and clean. The tripod is a table top which works great for me but you can also put it on other full size/adjustable tripods. There are nice accessories that also notch up my impression of this product. There’s a sunshade that will be great at the beach. You can get really close, surprisingly close! No regrets on this purchase! Hours and hours of enjoyment ahead of us watching animals across our large pond, while not disturbing them in the least!

Overall, my impression of this scope is quite high. The case is roomy enough to carry the scope, the included tripod, and the smart phone attachment and still have room left over for some other equipment. The tripod included with the scope stands about a foot high and is just right for use on a shooting bench. I believe that this is the best use for this scope, along with wildlife watching. You will want a full size solid tripod or window mount for serious use in the field. The smart phone attachment is one of the best I have used. It kept a solid grip on my iPhone X in an Otterbox. You need to make sure the phone camera is aligned with the hole in the adapter before you attach it to the scope. In use, it is best to find your subject at 20x power, focus, then zoom in to the desired amount and tweak the focus again. The focus knob is very nice in that it has a coarse adjustment and a fine adjustment that is geared to the coarse adjustment and so both are available while adjusting the scope. The image is clear and crisp, with no discernible cupping of the image at the edge of the field of view. I was able to focus in to the top of a Douglas Fir tree near my house which according to my laser range finder is right at 200 yards away. At 60x power I can make out individual needles. I took a picture using the smart phone adapter and it came out pretty good. Then I focused on the planet Jupiter (November 14, 2023) and could clearly see the four major moons and the bands of color. A photo through the scope, however was a bit disappointing. I could not get the focus right and only one moon is visible as a smudge. This is not a problem with the scope – it simply highlights the fact that if you want to do serious astronomy, you need a real telescope. I checked prices of spotting scopes with the same power range and objective lens diameter and found prices from $65 to $3700. A lot were in the $300 to $500 range and I would put this scope in this middle ground. From my experience using a friend’s $700 scope, I would have to say that this scope is well priced. The dual speed focus and glass quality make it a good and easy to use spotting scope. The tripod is adequate for bench shooting and the phone adapter works good enough for casual long range photography.

Easy to focus, clear image. Enables bird watching from a quarter mile away (turkeys!). Very nice scope, have only good things to say about it. The phone mount works fairly well, too. The only bit that is a bit weak in comparison is the accompanying tripod. Works good enough for looking through the scope, but for taking pictures, it allows the scope to wiggle whenever you tough the phone to take the picture. Noticed this initially when taking pictures of the moon.Let me reiterate, this is an excellent scope. The tripod problem is easily fixed by using a sturdier tripod.

Pros: not many parts to it. Easy to figure out. Comes with all the necessary components. Not too heavyCons. No mole straps/webbing on scope bag to help attach to gear for easy transpo. The tripod is cheap and all plastic. They could have used a bit more metal. Feels very flimsy and like an afterthought. The directions on how to use are too rudimentary. Also don’t even mention usage of one of the components and why it comes with it.
