I bought this rod so I could get my cats toys from under the couch. It’s cheap, it’s long enough to reach the majority of my couch. But for some reason, it smelled absolutely terrible when it arrived, like chlorine mixed in with *** . Even touching it made my hands smell terrible.I had to scrub it down with detergent before it was usable. Overall, it serves its purpose of getting stuff out from under the couch. But seems too flimsy to support an actual curtain.

Easy to use, installed within minutes. Looks terrific!! I have a feeling if my cat jumps on the curtain it will not support it but that is TBD.

The tension along the length of the rod is very inconsistent. Some parts are too tight, while others are too loose, resulting in unevenly hung curtains. Looks quite unprofessional.

This rod perfectly adjusted to the size of the window opening. The rod is adjusted by turning the end clock wise to extend, counter clock wise to retract.It's inexpensive and does the job!
