Use this for sprouting seeds to eat the sprouts. Absolutely love the bag to keep the trays in the dark. Could do with paper instructions included. Works great for seeds that are not too mucilaginous. Works great for mung bean sprouts if you weight the top tray with a family size can of soup.

This is the most useful and compact item I have ever bought---Just used the instruction video that you are directed to by code on a card --- Love and excited to be able to grow my Alfalfa in something besides a jar for once...LOL

I have bought several of the microgreen growers from this company and love them. It is my hostess gift of choice. Was excited to see this sprouter offered. Unfortunately, by the time I actually used it and realized the issues, it was a week past the return window so now I'm stuck with it. In theory it's a great idea. I love that it's vertical and has a small footprint. I love that you can sprout several different kinds of seeds at once and still keep them separated. I love that it comes with a black cover to keep out light. I immediately noticed that the germination rate seemed less than when I use my normal method of a glass jar. As I was cleaning out the sprouts I also noticed that almost every drainage hole had a seed stuck in it. Super stuck. I had to get a toothpick and individually clean out each and every one in each layer. The most ridiculous, time consuming process.

I just made my first batch of alfalfa sprouts and they are so good! We put them in our salad tonight and we will be putting them in sandwiches and salads the rest of the week!

It does stack nicely but the trays are to shallow the greens don’t have enough height room to grow.

The only problem is that it was supposed to come with seeds, but it did not. So I had to buy seeds and wait to get started growing. This was a disappointment
