I bought these in both acacia (gorgeous) and bamboo (nice). I'm quite impressed. They're lovely & well made. Since the lids' tops are straight across, not slanted down toward the sides, these will hold a pretty tall cake (a good 4", instead of losing height toward the edges). Bases have slight differences in width: one is about 9" across (inside the groove for the cover), and one's about 9 + 1/3" across. But for both, the lid-holding groove is big enough to allow for a little play, so the lids nest well into their grooves. I'm delighted with my purchase. I prefer the acacia to the bamboo (I just like the wood better), but both are pretty. It's virtually impossible to find a square display base with a lid; I know most cakes are round but lots of bakers have square pans also. Price fluctuated quite a bit; I nabbed these on a price drop.

I bought the bamboo one to use as a cake holder. It is beautiful & functional & people always compliment it & ask where I bought it. I look forward to using it for many years to come. It’s a great value for the money.

Awesome cake cover! I am very pleased with the quality of this product! I would definitely order from this company again! This one is very sturdy! The wood is very solid! Strong enough to hold several layers of cake when lifted.I make large pound cakes known as “Mile High†pound cakes and they are hard to cover with standard cake covers! This one fits perfectly! (That is my Mile High pound cake in the photo)I covered my wooden base (cake plate) with parchment paper because I didn’t want a sticky mess with the caramel that I poured on the cake, however the wooden base of the cake plate is absolutely lovely!

This is a nice cake stand.It would have been perfect if I’d needed the whole stand and cover together, but I only needed the cover as a replacement. It wasn’t the right size needed.

Beautiful & exactly what I needed for homemade bread. If you use a standard loaf pan, you can fit a full loaf and have a little extra room next to it.

I had to order 3 of these in order to get one that was not damaged. The first 2 came with lid busted at one of the seams. The third one came and the acrylic had scratches on it. (Keep in mind, I ordered new products). Very disappointing! I kept it bc I needed it for a dinner.I really like the marble base. Very heavy and nice, but the acrylic is cheap. The company should have wrapped the acrylic cover in something better to protect it in shipping.If I had not had so much trouble getting a good product, I would have given it 5 stars.
