This is as described and well built. This comes with a 200 amp breaker as the main disconnect. If you are installing a lower-amp system, you’ll need another main with an additional disconnect. Don’t expect to run your whole house with this, it only has 8 spots or so. But this is perfect for me, I have it running to an indoor subpanel, but I’ve connected my AC and a shed through this. It makes it really easy to install any outdoor lines without having to go through the walls to the indoor sub panel.One of the screws that keep the panel attached to the box is a bit hard to get in and out. Fortunately its an exterior one and not one connecting to anything electrical. Those ones are aluminum and would have stripped.

I have for a number of years only used Square D products for one simple reason, it works, and works very well when you need it the most! Square D is unsurpassed when it comes to the circuit interruption equation. There is no hesitation, & protection is essentially instantaneous. This combination panel with meter can serves a very specific purpose, and I am more than pleased with the product.

The unit worked out fine; however, I found it extremely difficult to find a PVC hub to fit the unit.

My electrician had been trying to get an outside meter panel since March 2021. His supplier has everything on back order due in part to supplies being rerouted to Texas due to the ice storms of last winter, and the supply delays at the Port of Los Angeles. Fortunately, I found this Square D unit and it was on a list of approved panels for AC Electric. My electrician was out yesterday to go over the panel to make the switch with the existing panel on 12/21. He was impressed with the quality of the cabinet and the connectors.

Was used! It had scratches, paint rubbed off the main breaker so you can barely see the rating. Both large knockouts on the bottom have been removed. Now I have to go buy knockout plugs instead of having this thing installed today. Doesn't seem fair I have to buy 40$ worth of parts for my new purchase.
