This was just perfect for my performance goal of bringing my 2002 Excursion's suspension back to life. Way cheaper than buying new springs or airbags and alot less work with all that I needed to get my 22 year old beast working like a Super Duty Truck again. I installed Sumos on the front and rear in about 45 minutes and I am very pleased with the performance thus far.

Bump stops worked great. Kept Ford Excursion ring level with load that was at Hitch Max for towing.Installed in minutes2000 miles with 1200lb tongue weight and they still look great. These work even better in the front when adding a snow plow.

What a Difference! Anyone with an Excursion... this is a must. Stiffened the steering and most importantly hitting a pothole or a dip, doesn’t bottom out anymore! Had the wife take a test drive and she felt the truck was stronger, but it’s the way it doesn’t sway, doesn’t bottom out, and doesn’t have a float feeling anymore... Love these things!

When i contacted the company, they were rather courteous and tried to help me find a way to use them anyway. I can fabricate anything, but sometimes the time involved isnt worth the effort. thats the case here. im going to air bags.

I bought these for my 01 ford excursion, they are great when you have extra weight, But when you don't you can feel it slap the frame onto this bumpstop and its quite painful. With that said they are so easy to instal I think I am going to pull them off and put them on when I tow.

Added front and back sumo springs to my 2002 excursion 4x4 and made the ride much more enjoyable. I know the skeptics like me wonder but they are less worry than an airbag and compressor. Not springy like some say but I could see that if the shocks were gone.

An easy and low stress alternative to air bags. Not adjustable, but the ride didn't degrade notably. I did install new quality shocks at the same time, so that may be the answer to people complaining.
