First, I want to mention that the seller is extremely helpful and responsive. The pads work well. I used them to polish granite tile edges that I cut for a counter top. It's important to use enough water and go slowly. A variable speed polisher is a must to do it properly. I wish I had a wet polisher but I don't, so I have to just keep wetting the tile as I go along.

Use this to do the first grind on quartz slabs (e.g., agate) but it takes forever (seems like) to remove any material. I still haven't had the patience to remove the saw marks from my first slab (about 5 square inches.
