This stadiometer is easy to assemble and lightweight. I do wish the base were a bit heavier, to help stabilize it more, but it does the job.Adjusting the height is easy, and this also comes with a handy storage bag for disassembly in cases where a lot of traveling may be needed (like a pop-up health clinic). The only thing that's not easy - is the disassembly. This stadiometer is tough to take apart.

This works as expected for measuring the height of my growing children. It’s easy to set up and only takes a few minutes to do. It’s made of quality materials and doesn’t look or feel like a cheap version. It’s easy to use and it’s accurate. It’s a great value.

This item is portable but it's quite flimsy. It's mostly plastic and except for the upright. The base is kind of small for the weight of the upright part. It works but since it is so wobbly i am not sure how accurate it is. It's isn't real easy to take apart and put back together so as far as it being portable it is but not very easily.

It’ll do just fine. I know that’s a simple title… but it’s about right. It does its job, but nothing exciting. It feels a little like it was bought on a budget. That said, it does its job just fine. I’m not sure this is accurate enough for clinical purposes… but for just general information, it’s more than enough. Comes with a carrying bag, though I have no reason to transport it once its set up. All in all, I’m happy with this.

This was ordered for traveling pediatric nurse. Assembling/disassembling do require some amount of muscle as the pieces fit together very tightly, but perhaps it will loosen a bit over time. Of course if you're measuring a toddler you don't need all the pieces, but it still something of a challenge. As long as you install each piece in the right direction this stadiometer is also very accurate but if you don't get the pieces turned in the right direction it will be slightly off. Adding a mark in permanent marker is an easy solution to this. Easily wiped clean.
