My 2 yr old constantly breaks his crayons little and big, so I was on the hunt for color pencils that were thicker than normal. I’m so happy I found these. These are perfect for his small hands. I like that it is in a tin, it is easy to put away. Now I don’t have to worry about him breaking them in half.

I bought these made-in-Taiwan pencils as a cheaper alternative to made-in-Germany Lyra Ferby. At one-third of Lyra’s cost, these are one-third of the quality as well. You get what you pay for. The “anti-breaking technology†is nothing but marketing.

Excellent quality pencils. Great for background and other large areas. Pencils color smoothly. Lead is similar to all other Staedtler colored pencils. I bought a set for myself and a set for my 4-year-old grandson to make schoolwork more fun when tracing his letters. Additionally, Staedtler custom service is outstanding.
