My kid decided he is a drummer. Joy. If that's what we're doing then he needs more cowbell and this delivered. It sounds like a cowbell. It works well and its easy to assymble. Just open the box and screw it on the stand you already have. Boom. That drumset is 9% less annoying.

Loud. Feels sturdy. It can be clamped on to a drumset, or held in your hand. I think I may put a piece of wood in the clamp or something for easier holding since I want to use it hand held. It's a good size. No one of the huge ones, but big enough to not sound high pitched and like a toy. It fits easily in my small gear bag. It does not have a clanger, you can't shake it and ring it.I haven't tried using it with any actual cows, so i can't speak to it for that purpose. I would think they would like it. Cows aren't particularly choosy. I would imagine pigs would dislike it though. It's not a pigbell. If you are looking for a pigbell, I would get a bell specifically designed for pigs. It could pass as a donkeybell. Donkeybells are really just cowbells with a thinner build.If you paint it a different color, you can have it in different colors. Purple would be nice. Or plaid.

I am an old guy that started drumming too late in life, but just waiting for this was exciting. And it has not let me down.... granted not a thousand dollars but gets the job done. Been beating the crap out of this for weeks and not one mark, wish I could say that about my new cymbals. What are you waiting for, just buy it!

I'm not a hockey mom and I'm not sure how many times to need to hit this to get the cows to come home, but it sounds like a cow bell, looks like a cow bell, I'll update when the cows come home. The clamp screw is a little weak but fits both 12.5 and 9.3 mm rods.

Sounds better then a ridge rider, has a very nice bell like ring that doesn't sustain or PIERCE YOUR EAR! THIS THING IS ROCKTASTIC! MORE COWBELL
