Like other glass cutting oil, a little goes a long way. I just dip the cutting wheel into the oil and it is sufficient to get a good cut. I haven't had any issues with this oil and it works as well as others I have used. The included dropper is convenient to get a small amount out of the bottle without accidentally dumping too much. The bottle also ships with a safety seal so no worries about spilling during shipment. There are some less expensive options like 8oz bottles but I find 4 oz lasts me a very long time.
