I like to jump my rustler off the curbs by my house and it has been tearing up the chassis. This skid plate goes on the bottom and now take all the damage instead of the soft plastic. The only draw back is that this thing is pretty heavy so you need either stiffer springs or lots of spacers.

Great idea just poor execution. All of the screws fit except the two on the front of the main plate. They are the same length as the ones removed.

I was driving my traxxas rustler 4x4 brushless and I hit a curb at around 10mph. The rear wheels took the hit and the stress broke the rear bulkhead (the little black piece on the bottom that connects the chassis to the rear assembly). The skid plate was attached to this piece so in theory it should have helped distribute the force and support the bulkhead. However, instead, the screws in the front of the plate came right out. My car split into 2 pieces. Upon further investigation, the screws dont fit deep enough in the front. They seem to have forgotten to account for the thickness of the skid plate. I don't blame this product for the crash. But as I was assessing the damage I was surprised that the plate didn't protect the car at all. Only use this if you want to reduce scuffs and nothing more. Send the right hardware guys, come on...

Sizing is slightly off and screws are too short other than that. Great product looks good. Just haven’t had a chance to buy longer screws.!

I have a pink and purple Rustler and when I saw this skid plate, I had to have it. I put it on my truck and it looks great! It seems to be made of a good quality material, I have had it out throwing gravel and it's barely scratched!

Screw holes are a bit off and doesn't sit flash on a chassis. Have to modify
