This comb is amazing! With the recent moisture, our doodle has been an absolute tangly mess. Today, I had a chance to blow out his fur and use this comb- and not one gnarl got in our way. It’s important to line brush doodles, and this comb is perfect for the task of creating the “lines†and then following up with the slicker brush (which is also AMAZING). This comb works well on our Malenois too, just maintaining her short hair. This comb is made to last, it is NOT flimsy! After using on my puppy, it was super easy to wipe down, and the “fingers†of the comb didn’t hurt my fingers or snap back- very important to me. It’s also very comfortable to grip. A great product from @pupwell- we are devoted fans!

We use this comb nearly everyday on our 7 lb. toy poodle. She has very thick curly hair so if not brushed regularly, she mats quite quickly. And this comb has been a lifesaver. Our poodle is pretty sensitive to brushes with a sharper bristles, but she love this one. And she'll lie down and calmly wait while we comb her hair out.Plus we love Pupwell's beautiful designs of all their products

Don't let the simplicity of this comb fool you. I have several items from Pupwell and they are all of fantastic quality. This is what I reach for every time I need to brush my doodle. I love their slicker brush too... but using this comb is what makes all the difference for my pups. If you are on the fence about this product.. I have one suggestion... buy it!

This comb is so sturdy and well made. We have used other combs for our doodle and she fights being brushed. She didn’t at all with this comb! Love it!

Great quality comb, my dog has medium length hair and I find this comb is better for maintaining tangle free fur rather than combing through to get rid of tangles. Great for in between visits to the groomers. Comes in a nice leather pouch for storage as well. I do wish there was a better handle to it rather than the whole thing being teeth.

This comb is the best. It's durable and gentle and works beautifully, which especially matters given how often my puppy needs to be brushed!

Dog combs are very useful, especially for longer-haired dogs. Pin brushes only go so far, slicker brushes are better, but combs will catch any last tangles or mats. There is actually a difference in quality between the cheaper ones and the more expensive. This Pupwell comb is on the more expensive side, about the same as a Chris C comb and four times the price of an Andis comb. I have all three, and attached a picture for comparison. The Chris C comb is on the top, Pupwell in the middle, and Andis comb on the bottom. The Andis comb is pretty functional and very inexpensive. It's easy to clean and seems sturdy. I bought a Chris C comb to see if it's actually better, and it is....better construction, heavier, and goes through tangles in hair better. 4 times the price better...well, depends on how much you use it.The Pupwell is very similar to the Chris C, just a little lighter. It seems to go through the hair just as well, and better than the Andis. Construction feels more solid than the Andis too. It also comes with a nice sleeve to protect the comb, which is great if you're throwing it in a grooming bag of tools. My cocker spaniel needs lots of grooming, so extra combs in different places is great. I still do use the Andis comb for quick work, like paws after the dog comes in from a wet lawn. For daily grooming along with a slicker, the Pupwell seems as good as the Chris C comb so far. I have noticed that if you hit a thicker tangle, the cheaper comb will catch and the teeth almost feel like they will bend. The Pupwell, like the Chris C, will stop and not have that feeling of bending. A little slicker or rake work, and you can go back over with either comb and make sure you got it out. This Pupwell product looks solid, will have to check out their other grooming tools!

This dog grooming comb is nothing if not SUBSTANTIAL. It's very weighty and well constructed, with rounded teeth and a handle that feels great in the hand. This type of comb is best for dematting/detangling long hair on dogs (think doodles), and so far it's worked great. It's definitely on the pricier end of the spectrum, but I feel that it's probably justified due to the workmanship. It also includes a nice little slip case for storage when not in use. 5/5!
