Works well to comb through my drop coat dog. One side has narrow teeth which is nice to smooth out the feet. Glides through the coat nicely catching smallest of tangles so I can work them out.

My first week was ensuring a standard poodle coat was well brushed, line brushing, gentle mat removal ... the final transition from poodle puppy hair to adult coat. The mats were easily found and removed or cut out to avoid hurting my dog. The comb felt comfortable to hold without slipping. I loved the textured spine - it's beautiful. Highly recommend - smooth ends.

My kittens love this comb! They love the feel of it because it covers their entire tummy with one stroke. They really love getting their tail combed each day with this comb, they seem to fall asleep after each combing. I would recommend to any one with long haired animals!

I have Chris Christensen combs and they feel wonderful in your hand, but they are expen$ive. This Claw Claws comb feels awesome in your hand with the oval handle. Love that there are more coarse teeth, than fine ones.Do have one complaint. I've already bent one of the pins out of shape picking apart a mat. Had to knock a star off for that. Kinda makes me question longevity under heavy use. If you're a home groomer, this should work for you with no worries.

These are nice combs. I bought both sizes. They're easier on my hand to hold than the kind with circular shape spines, and the teeth are a nice thickness and sturdiness to hold up while combing through very thick, tangled fur. The ends are also nice because they rounded enough that they won't stab skin, but they're also pointed enough to really get into the thick tangles of fur exactly where I want them.The teeth are longer than I realized they would be, which is nice since I bought them to use on my Newfie/Pyr cross puppy. He's growing so fast that most of the smaller combs I have are already getting to be too little to be useful. The larger one in particular makes combing out his flanks so much quicker! The shorter comb is great for around his legs and chest. The two combs have teeth of the same length and spacing, the difference is the overall length of the comb.I'm very happy with my purchase!

I have a Sheltie with an extremely dense coat! Nothing gets down to his skin without using two or three brushes! This comb gets right down through the guard hairs and downy undercoat! Wow!!! Works perfectly! Bought a second one!
