First I just need to mention that this is a big comb. Larger than we anticipated which is not a problem since we have a big dog with a while lof of brushing. It's a nice, sturdy, heavy duty feeling comb with a larger wide tooth area than the the narrow tooth, which works out fine for our dog's muzzle area. Seems to be the same if not better quality than leading brands on the market for half the price.

this is a very nice comb to get tangles out of dog fur, and remove the shedding fur.. the price is great too. I appears to be sturdy enough Why pay more?

Very sturdy and good for thick dog hair. There are areas of my dog's hair that is too thick for a slicker brush. This comb works fine for those areas and also for cleaning out the slicker brush as well as combing conditioner through the hair.

I prefer pointed tip greygound combs generally for grooming but this comb is special!It works through tangles amazingly and it's the absolute best for doodle teddy bear heads! Cannot stop choosing this comb over my many!The size is definitely big! So if you're wanting for smaller dogs this is not the one for you.Prongs will bend with use if you're donating but will not fall out the way its designed!It's very sturdy and doesnt feel cheap at all.I got a real andis comb exactly like pictured.

Love this comb, I have 3 Standard poodles and it works great on making sure all knots are out. Love the longness of the conb.

I just got this about 3o mins ago it is 8:19 pm Eastern Standard NYC Time, I must say I was and hugely impressed by this Andis 10 inch steel comb!!! I own a Maine Coone and brush him faithfully once a week, and clip his nails. I use a rubber Kong Brush, which does remove lots of hair, but he appeared not to like it too much, then this arrives, and I thought to myself what can a steel comb do that a rubber brush has demonstrated it can do very well...well I brushed him over the weekend with the rubber brush, and as I stated he really balks and becomes fed up quickly, so I sat with him to put this huge comb to the test and I was amazed he reacted more favorably by rubbing his cheeks on the brush as if to say 'Yes Daddy now we talking'....I could not believe his response, and the hair this comb took out of his recently comb coat was also amazing, he allowed 10 mins without no out right resistance. Here are the photos to prove how much more hair he had hidden deeper in his coat, I guess the rubber brush gets the top coat, but this brush allows you to deep into the coat. Be gentle I notice the points if pressed too hard can jar him. be gentle and brush along the growth of the coat. Great Comb the 10 inch was a bit too big for my needs and Kiki's needs but it did the job well...Thank you Andis for a great experience with your product.

I've got a very husky Husky that HATES being brushed, and always has. This is the first brush shes allowed me to use for more than a minute before screaming at me and running off.- Sturdy. It's metal, whats not to love.- Difficult to hold- Great at slowly working out matts, rather than cutting or pulling them out.- Dog LOVES IT!!!!! (Honestly the most important part)
