it feels like it's 1lb or more, and it appears to be stainless steel wire, so idk what more there is to review!

Granted, I got the heaviest gauge offered, but it is strong stuff. Bring your long handled pliers and best cutters. I'd trust this wire to outlast any fence I strung with them. Anything you make with this wire is going to be durable--at least as far as the wire portion is concerned.I'm pretty sure I could run a die over it and make a usable screw.

First off, this seems like is a good quality, polished 304 stainless. However, I ordered 16 gauge and what was shipped was not 16 ga. In American Wire Gauge, 16 gauge should measure 1.29mm approximately. In Standard Wire Gauge, 16 gauge should measure 1.6mm. This is neither. This has a second tag under the first tag pictured that identifies the wire as 304 stainless, but also identifies the gauge as 1.5mm. That is also not what I measured with a digital caliper. This wire measures as anywhere between 1.43mm and 1.45mm. That corresponds to 15 gauge in AWG standards. While that doesn’t really impact how I will be using the wire, as the buyer, should be informed of what you are buying. As I go forward and use the product, if I discover any issues, I will amend my review to include that information. 3 stars were given because advertising the wire as one size when it is actually another can be a very big deal - but is not reflective of the quality of the wire itself,

I bought this Stainless Steel Solid Wire to tie the sides of a pen together, but found that the 12-gauge wire is too heavy to twist easily even with vice grips. It’s a solid product with good strength, but the stiffness makes it challenging for projects requiring flexibility. That said, it’s durable and would work well for applications needing extra rigidity. Overall, a quality wire, just not ideal for twisting tasks.

This stainless-steel wire will hold up better and look much better than the wire I have been salvaging from coat hangers for small repair projects. I've only needed about a foot of wire for the necessary repair. This spool is sold by weight. Most people would rather know the length of the coil. If my math is correct, there should be about 100 feet of wire in this spool. Added to my inventory of useful materials to have available when brainstorming creative ways to repair something by myself.

Got this for making silver ring splints for myself and very happy with it. Polished nicely, looks great. only downside is man 14g stainless can be hard to bend lol should have anticipated that but that’s on me. Good value.

It is not easy to find real stainless steel wire like this - at least in the stores in my area. This roll is a true 16 gauge (measuring .062" with my highly inaccurate caliper) and by the charts I could find the length should be about 95'. I have used this type of wire to make hangers for outdoor decorations and 40 years later the wire is as good as the day I installed it. Galvanized wire doesn't hold up nearly as well as solid stainless steel. I will be saving this only for those special applications I want to last - though I don't think I will care 40 years from now! This is non-magnetic stainless steel - the good stuff! I would like to see other sizes offered as well.
