I use it to scrub the bottom of my sailboat here in the Caribbean and it holds up to the salt water. As far as the stainless steel brushes are concerned, they are not rusting in the salt water. And I do not rinse it In freshwater afterwards. I tested the brushes with a magnet.And it passed The stainless steel test as it do not stick. On the other hand the scraper did not pass, but that's okay. It will probably rust in time. But the main, the brush and not the scraper part.

This brush is sturdy with lots of wire bristles. I expect to get a lot of wear from this one!

very good wire brushes. bristles are stiff and long. makes prepping very easy as the length of the bristles helps with tight corners.

I needed a sturdy, sharp bristled wire brush to prep my propane tank for painting. The handle is a perfect length and the bristles are sharp and the right size to get around edges and crevices. The blade on the end is so handy for scraping stubborn areas. I feel I will find other uses for the brush. I consider it a good purchase.
