These are great quality and exactly as pictured. Love the rubber like bottom and they stay perfectly on my steps

Recently I slipped and almost fell down the wood stairs in our two story home. I'm in my late 60's, and decided it was time to make the stairs a little safer, as we are constantly going up and down them. I chose these because I didn't want to use glue on the old heart pine wood our stairs are made of. Like other reviewers, I find that they stay in place just fine without any kind of sticky backing. They do seem to be made of the same material a computer mouse pad is made from, only thicker. They feel good under my feet, and both my hsband and I feel more secure on the stairs now. I got the "blue", which is a mix of blues, light grey, and white. They match our living room area rug so well, you would think they had been purchased together as a set. Not long after putting them down my husband tracked mud on some of them. After sweeping I used a spray cleaner and sponge to clean them and they came out great. Personally, I think these are too bulky for a washing machine...I'm very pleased with this purchase, and am so glad I found these on Amazon.

Very soft which can make it a little slippery if close to the edge of the step. The coloring is exact. Held up fine through machine wash. Would buy again.

I bought these 4 months ago for my new home. I can’t believe how many compliments I get on them. They look great, are soft to step on, and stay in place! Also they are very easy to clean. Great buy!

They look nice, but they do not stay in place on the stairs. I constantly have to move them back into place.

Someone said it's like a mouse pad and that's definitely what they are. They aren't carpet/rug material. They are really easy to install because you just set them on the floor. They don't stick to your floor like sticker so you can move them around with ease. I bought these because my dog was slipping on the hard wood stairs and they do help. The picture makes them look a like there is blue tint but it's not they are Grey. But all in all I need a quick fix for my pup and these do help.

We have a senior dog who was struggling to go down the stairs due to them not having a grip. Since putting these down, he has not had any issues. They are surprisingly comfortable to step on, plenty of cushion to them. They do have a rubber bottom so they don’t stick, it’s more of a grip, which makes it easier to clean them and the stairs. Only con for me is that we have to straighten them out often but it doesn’t bother me much. I much rather prefer to straighten them out then have them permanently stick due to the cleaning of the dog hair that we have to do.

After living in one story homes my entire life, my partner and I bought a house that is two stories. I’m happy we have solid surfaces, but I have two folders that run the risk of hip dysplasia. I bought these as they match our area rug that we love immensely and it kept cohesiveness. These are just soft enough that I noticed within a day that the balls of my feet no longer hurt going down the stairs. They don’t stay in place very well, but I do love that they’re machine washable. They’ve last so far six weeks with two dogs and moving. When new and washed/placed they look amazing on the stairs.
