Hot Rod Ignitor Kit Descriptions:
Hot rod goes into the base of the firepot. Designed for a quick connection, once properly installed, reigniting your grill will be as simple as flipping a switch.
Specifications:
- 200 watt/120 volt, 17" wire lead.
- 3" high density cartridge heating element replacement.
- Quickly lighting your wood and keeping the fire lit for quality grilling.
- Only 1/8” to ¼” of the wire should be visible once the replacement cartridge is in place.
Wood Pellet Grill Working Process:
Pellets compressed from sawdust and wood shavings fill a hopper and are then fed into a burn pot using an electric auger system. The auger, which is basically a long screw, delivers pellets to the burn pot based on the speed dictated by the unit’s thermostat. As the burn pot ignites, the pellets burn. Heat then carries through the home via convection (air driven) means, thus allowing air flow and a blend of warm and cool air to maintain steady, even burn temperatures. A heat exchanger separates the smoke fumes from the warm air, thereby warming the room without smoking everyone out.

This replacement part for a Camp Chef Woodwind Pro fit perfectly and works perfectly. It was blowing the GFCI plug breaker all the time from day 1 when the grill was brand new. Instead of spending half of my life getting Camp Chef to send me a new ignitor rod I just bought my own and installed it and problem is fixed

Do not buy. I was excited about it and got it installed and it worked great.... For a month then no heat. I think I grilled 3 times before it pooped out on me.

Exact fit for my Camp Chef 24 dlx.Replacement took about 30 minutes, including emptying the pellets and cleaning the grill up.After putting it all back together the grill fired right up. Good experience.
