Was happy to find this replacement starter for my fire pit. The old one became corroded in the battery tube and stopped working. It fit like the original starter. I will remove the battery between use to keep the connections from corroding in the future.

The install is pretty easy. In my heater I had to take the upper part of the heater off to get to the old one and replace with the new one.

Lasted approx 3 weeks--No longer sparks. Troubleshooting unsuccessful. Only thing I can think of is it rained, the grill is not inside, and the ignitor got wet. Of course, it had rained before, and it still worked so go figure. CANNOT BE RETURNED OR REFUNDED!!! Apparently, I did not read the fine print. Because of this, I don't recommend to others to purchase this product.

Replaced old school push to ignite/single click ignitor on my gas fireplace. Instead of pushing really hard in an awkward location approximately 10 times, simply push ONCE, LIGHTLY, and the auto repeat does the work for you. It sparks about 3-4 times per second. Very good ingnitor.

Fridge: Dometic RM2193 3wayReplaced the old factory push button ignitor that frustrated me having to click it 30+ times to get the burner lit. The new ignitor just fits in the position in the photo. The single wire I pulled off factory igniter pushed on firmly to the back of the new ignitor. The new ignitor grounds itself to the mounting plate just like the factory one did. Instant fridge lighting now! So happy with this upgrade!
