I decided to replace this on my Ford ranger because I have owned the truck for 25 years. Possible mentions could be old part causing the engine to stall. I also recommend replacing the brake booster for stall proofing your engine. Amazon has that too!

I bought this to replace the bad egr on my 1998 ford ranger 2.5. It fit perfectly without and fitment issues. Much cheaper than buying from the dealer or my local auto parts.

Product leaks Vacuum and doesn't work...I had this replaced when arrived and been having issues since...Shop said since new it wasn't the problem but now since going to a new shop the EGR Valve has actually been determined to be faulty this whole time,return window is closed and I've lost money..not happy with this order quality...

Valve may be okay, but it did not fit my 99 Sable. It is either slightly longer, or a different angle than the original. Thought that it was close enough that I could make it fit, but in trying I cracked the aluminum return line. Now I have to replace that. Because of that rigid return line, it has to fit perfect. This isn't. ..... Will return.
