I was getting a small vacuum leak causing my fuel trims to run lean and therefore triggering lean codes on both banks. My old Egr valve was stuck open causing a vacuum leak. I tried cleaning it but no luck. No more codes or vacuum leaks after replacing it with this one.

Fit perfect and seems to be working as it's supposed to. Noticed a rough idle and after confirmed with scanner, replaced and 2001 expedition runs great again.

A little aggravating getting it on because I didn't move everything out of the way. Fit perfect came with a gasket.

I bought this for my 97 Ford expidition and so far so good! I had trouble getting the old part off but once that was done installing the new one was a breeze! It is well worth the price and it was here in just a few days. Although it took about a day for it to work properly but that could have been due to the fact that my truck has ALOT of miles. But I definitely recommend this item. Thanks a bunch!

Works great and the included gasket is a nice improvement over the manufacturer part. Word of warning, THOROUGHLY clean the backside of the casting mount where the bolts protrude from and SOAK in a penetrating oil to avoid shearing a bolt like I did. If you DO shear it, never fear, find someone who can drill that sucker out like I did and clean out the threads with the appropriate tap. I did try and use a bolt extractor but it only got about half the shank out as the bottom of the bolt was what had seized. You HAVE to drill dead on center if you go this route or you'll need to upsize the threads.

I replaced my stock one just because of high mileage nothing wrong with it and now it’s throwing codes for the Egr.
