My wife's 1996 Maxima was giving an error code for this, so decided to try replacing it myself. Took all of 20 minutes to replace, works great, and saved a bunch of money vs taking it to the shop.

The molded plastic piece is not correct and would not fit my 1998 Nissan Frontier. I would have to grind down the plastic in order to make it fit which I'm not going to do. I ordered a replaced thinking the first one was simply a defective item, but the replacement had the same issue.
