My uncle told me I needed to invest in a brass punch for knocking in bearing races to prevent damage to new races. I followed his advice and bought one for working on my truck and trailer hubs. The tool has help up very well with superior quality. After each use, I grind it back down ready to knock the next race in. Eventually it will wear down and I'll buy this product again. Highly recommend

Need to hammer out that stubborn bolt or pin but scared of damaging the shrouding metal? Get this bad boy and a mini sledge and go to town. Seriously though, it's a giant brass punch. The finish on mine was fine and I like Protos knurling. It's definitely come in handy plenty of times for me.

Perfect length and diameter, very strong and sturdy for a bronze punch. Great foruse when you don't want to mar the work.
