Considering the price, I didn't know what to expect with these tools. My wife and I recently bought a house and decided to rip up and re-do the flooring ourselves. The house was mostly carpet. Ripping the carpet up was quick and easy but dealing with the residual staples and nails seemed like it was going to be a nightmare. Thankfully, these tools made it surprisingly easy and actually satisfying to pull up nails or staples with. One additional I recommend is a smaller handheld magnet that can quickly pick up and hold the nails or staples until you put them in a receptacle. Much better than picking up one by one with your hands.

After removing old carpet I had to remove 100's 0f different sized staples. I took a chance on these removal tools and was very happy with how well they worked. They are a great time saver.

The remover grab tool- useless completely.The other 2 tools are made for larger staples that are not seated well into the material. If your staples are in the wood as they should be, these do not work well as the thickness of the tip of the tool does not get under the staple. And yes, I know what I'm doing. These are cheap for a reason.

Excellent Staple Remover for Upholstery and Construction Heavy-Duty Tack Puller. It made my job easier and painless. I reupholstered six dining chairs; each seat has many staples. Using these tools took me half the time it took me to use a regular screwdriver.
