Great tool to get out carpet staples. It didn’t help me pull staples out per say but it did help me to get under the staple to at least break the staple in half and either nail punch or try and pull it out. It had a hard plastic handle so I could tap it with the hammer to lift up under the staple.

Rarely do I write reviews but this tool warranted one. I would give it 6 stars for one reason; It TRULY WORKS. My kitchen floor has 2 layers of linoleum with a piece of Luan under each layer. For this project, I only need to rip up the two layers of linoleum with a piece of Luan in between. Pulling up those 1†staples, which were shot in with a gun (by trigger happy laborers), was incredibly easy & efficient. Definitely recommend this tool.

needed to re-upholster 6 dining room chair seats - used this tool for the first time - absolutely could not have done this without this tool - saved many hours of labor as there were literally hundreds of small staples to remove.Don't try and do this job without this tool.

I recently purchased a new home and decided to rip up the old carpet. 3 bedrooms, hallway and living room went ok but then I got to the stairs. I had an awful time trying to get these 1†staples out. 2 days and 8 hours later, i finally was successful.I went to Amazon and found this tool and thought WTH, as I had another stairs. The next stairs took about 2 hours. I highly recommend this tool!!

This staple remover is so much easier than the pinching staple removers. And it doesnt send the staples flying once the staple is out
