I bought these for re-upholstering our dining room pub table chairs. It took me a long time to get staples out of our pub table chairs with small screwdriver. It was time to look on Amazon to see what tools are made for pulling staples. With this package you get two tools that make job easier. The tool that has two small prongs that get under staples to pull up staples works great. I just pulled up some carpet to install vinyl flooring and tack strip that holds down carpet had staples in them. It was time to try my staple puller for upholstery on flooring staples it worked great, love tools that speed up jobs.

I will be reupholstering an old loveseat that belonged to my parents. I am just learning and although I have reupholstered chairs, I never had the right tool to remove old staples. I have not used these tools yet but they look exactly what I will need to make the job of staple removing much easier and faster.

I have been restoring an old British sports car and decided to do my own upholstery work as part of that process. I found myself trying to remove some very old and very rusty staples and nails from the wooden seat frames. I screwdriver and set of pliers does work but is very tedious and is taking for ever. This staple and nail puller set was a worthwhile upgrade and is making the job much easier and faster. The head on the nail puller will grab a hold of even the smallest nail head and offer great leverage to easily pull the nail. All while causing minimal damage to the surrounding surface. The staple puller has a nice thin tip that slips under a staple easily and with the foot of the tool applies even pressure to the material to pull the staple out. No more trying to wedge a screw driver underneath and then wiggling it from side to side to get the staples out. This is just another case of the right tool for the job and these are the right tools.
