Peels just the skin!Peeling fruits and vegetables is quick and easy with the Rotato Express. It peels just the skin without wasting any of the nutritious part of the vegetable. The Rotato Express is simple and safe to operate; even a child can use it. Its non-slip base holds it securely to the counter or other work surface. Rotato comes with a little plastic knife, stored conveniently under the base. It's specially designed for easy removal of potato eyes or other blemishes.

Helpful hints
Before peeling, put a paper towel beneath the Rotato to catch peelings.
When choosing foods to be peeled, choose fruits and vegetables that are firm, blemish free and symmetrically shaped. Fruits and vegetables more than 5.5" tall should be cut in half so the Rotato Express can grip them firmly.

- Center the food on the bottom food holder and press gently
- Lower the upper food holder so that it grasps the food and holds it securely
- Using the height adjustment lever, raise the cutter arm so that it rests on top of food to be peeled. WARNING: Do not grab cutter blade… it is razor sharp!
- While pressing lightly on the upper food holder, press on the power button. The skin peels off in one clean, continuous curl
How to remove peeled food
- Lift upper food holder from food and raise it to the top of the support column.
- Grasp food, and using a gentle back and forth rocking motion, remove food from bottom food holder pulling towards you. Do not yank your fruit or vegetable straight up from the bottom food holder. You don't want to accidentally swing your hand into the holder spike. WARNING: Do not grab cutter blade… it is razor sharp.
- Trip off any deep potato eyes with the little plastic knife. Use the same knife to remove blemishes on fruit and vegetables.

I bought this as I have a bad back and I have a hard time standing to peel by hand. I bought this after researching a few others. This peeler is wonderful. It is super easy to use and does a great job. After putting the potato on the base and lowering the holding spike you just adjust the cutter arm to the top of the potato and hit the red button and everything is automatic and peels fadt. Remove potato and trim the polar caps and you are ready for cooking. While the blade peels it comes out in a long continuous strip you can catch in your hand to throw away. There is do much less potato wastage than peeling by hand. No accidents with your hands or fingers. The price is great and the quality is good. You can run it either by electricity or 8 AA batteries and it also comes with 2 spare cutting blades that are inside the units base. You have got to try this Sure is a time saver and you do not even need to pre wash the potatoes

I purchased my peeler about 2 years ago and until then I had always peeled potatoes with a knife or a manual peeler, so when I saw this electric peeler, I was intrigued, as peeling potatoes is not my favorite job! I knew if this worked I would be happy. Some of these peelers can get really expensive but for $20 I was willing to gamble. When it arrived I was excited to give it a try and took it out of the box and plugged it in. No setup required, it's ready to go right out of the box and it comes with an extra blade, which is a little tricky to replace so be sure to make a mental note of how it comes off. I secured my potato on the bottom and brought the top of the peeler down. pierced the top of the potato, moved the blade up to the top of the potato, pressed the button and within seconds the potato was peeled! It does leave a dime size place unpeeled on top and about a quarter size place on the bottom where the potato is secured to the device but a couple of swipes from a blade takes care of that. It peels all shapes and sizes unless the potato is too large to fit in the machine. Of course, the bad places might need some extra attention and it is a little loud and screeches slightly but all in all, this is a fabulous little machine and if something happened to mine I would immediately order another one!

This little machine is a game changer! It peels potatoes fast and clean. Good strong machine, doesn't bog down. I bought a 2'nd one for my son and his family as he grills a lot of potatoes, (creek fries), we love it so far, havent used it for anything but potatoes but I'm sure it will peel about any kind of fruit or veggie. Great buy and time saver!

I wasn't sure this would be worth the effort but it's actually pretty handy! It peels very quickly and I like the fact that it comes with extra blades. I love kitchen gadgets and this was a great addition to my collection. Good price, too!

So easy...peel a bag of potatoes for holidays in minutes...then just need to clear skin of the ends. Also works for apples, cucumbers, etc.

It works great and saves a lot of time and nicked knuckles. Highly recommend! The cutters are extremely sharp, and its easy to use. Hint: don't press the potato or apple down hard onto the bottom spikes, and it will trim farther down the bottom end. The items to peel do fine with just a moderate depth of the bottom spikes. We made curly fries by running the peeled potato through again.

As soon as I tried to use of this product, the plug blew up and there was bad smell of burning. Tried to get a replacement from amazon but that also didnt work.
