I got this when I decided to redo my home network, I moved my patch panel from the garage to inside the laundry room, reran the cables, punched down into the jacks and installed it in a cupboard, installed the jacks into the patch panel and it works as you would expect it to. It is sturdy when fastened and swings out when un-fastened. Would recommend!

This would have been a great bracket just for the punchdown block. That was originally what I ordered it for, and it would have met my needs perfectly. I decided before I received it that I wanted to mount my switch inside a box as well, so I returned this bracket. The bracket was not deep enough to accommodate my switch. I had to purchase a much more expensive box which would hold the switch. This bracket would have been great for just the patch panel and a power strip. It is very heavy, well-made, and has a hinged side to access the patch panel. I almost kept it just as a backup for future needs!

Well made bracket, seems plent sturdy for mr needs of a patch panel and cable organizer. My only complaint is that it doesnt have center cage mounts. I purchased a Startech cable organizer to use in this, and it only has the center mounting holes. Last but not least, as others have mentioned, it only includes four cage nuts & screws for one 1u install.

This is high quality thick metal and has a hinge on one side so you can open it easily when working on patch panels (a very nice addition). I got the 2RU for room to grow even tho I only needed 1RU today.

Good product. Should have bought one that was deeper. My switch didnt fit. But that's my fault. Mount worked great for other uses.

Price was good, and wall mount is well built. I am using a 2U Wall mount with a 1U 24 port patch panel.Hinge design allows easy access to back of patch panel for move or add of circuits.A very good purchase.

It is not mounted to a wall but it is a bracket ... holds 1u 16 port patch panel no problems does what was needed... I wouldn't try mounting a wall to it however I don't think it would really support a wall and walls are usually freestanding

Good product but could be deeper in depth. Installed a DLink switch and the electrical cord was tight go threw the opening at the back.
