We were beginners. This worked perfectly. I’ve never learned an instrument before nor owned one. The sounds awesome and serine. It came with a little book of songs. Definitely recommend lettering the keys.

This drum has a surprisingly deep, resonant, beautiful tone, considering its small size and quite reasonable price. It is more brown / bronze than the gold pictured, but still beautiful, especially when struck with the mallets. It has definitely found a welcome home with me! BTW, for anyone new to steel tongue drums, they are much better played with mallets than with fingers. Highly recommended, for fun, relaxation, stress management, sound healing, and playing with others.
