Easy to use! My 9 year old got it for his birthday and it was so easy for him to do with little help from me. The solar car works perfectly. Only issue is the plane. A piece broke and it would be nice to have some back up peices.

After purchasing, then returning a plastic solar-powered robot of a similar design (despite hundreds of positive reviews), I decided to try this one. The quality is very good and significantly better than most of the ‘7-in-1’ or ‘14-in-1’ plastic versions available.I purchased it for my 5yo knowing it was too advanced for him to build but that he wanted to do it together. A 10yo could do it themself.The wooden pieces are laser-cut and perfectly fit together. Directions are easy to follow and clear. So far we’ve built the wind-powered car and solar-powered car and both work great. The parts, and overall finished products, are good quality and will last if properly cared for.All up, much happier with this slightly more expensive wooden option compared to the plastic versions which are pretty cheap and poorly designed.
